I am a teacher's assistant for the Dublin School District with a 17 year-old daughter, and we've suddenly found ourselves facing homelessness if we do not find a place to move our 1972, 24 X 60 foot modular home.
Currently, our home is located on school property where I've been the vandal watch person for about 6 years. Unfortunately, a charter school is on the school property now, and they do not need vandal watch.
We are supposed to be off the school property no later than Jan. 1, 2006. If we do not find somewhere to move our home, then we are going to have to have it taken to the dumps, thus my entire life savings will be thrown away--literally.
We are hoping maybe a farmer or someone with land might be willing to have a mobile home on their land for either the trade of rent and/or chores around the place, or possibly for help in caregiving. I have a lot of experiece with the elderly, the handicapped, and children.
We would make wonderful tenants. We are quiet, loving, kind, and pretty much need a miracle right now.
If there is anyone out there willing to trade a piece of their land for some help and/or rent, we would greatly appreciate it.
Relocating anywhere within 30 or 40 minutes of the tri-valley area would be ok too. We would just like to keep our current home.
